A content-driven marketing and diagnostic platform built for a 100-year-old commercial bindery making its first move into the direct-to-author market. Origin Books replaces a legacy Shopify storefront with something fundamentally different: a consultative funnel that earns trust before asking for the sale.
The Problem
Authors, designers, and small publishers shopping for book production hit the same wall: pricing calculators that require production knowledge they don’t have, quote forms that go into a black hole, and vendor sites that assume you already know what you need. The result is a market full of buyers who aren’t ready to buy — and printers who waste time quoting jobs that aren’t ready to print.
